RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a ServiceNow Software Engineer in Rocklin, CA. This role requires 4 days onsite (Monday to Thursday) for 6 months+ contract to start, with long term opportunity/potential CTH in future.
Summary:
In this role, you will be at the forefront of IT Operations transformation, delivering cost savings, productivity gains, and user experience improvements. Duties/Day to Day Overview:
* ServiceNow Software Engineer will be responsible for turning product requirements into designs
* Developing implementation plans
* Developing integrations and automated initiatives for both On-cloud and On-premise platforms
* Responsible for the development of the service management framework, workflows, event management workflows, and business application workflows as well as integrations and tools capabilities
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical development roles
* 2+ years of working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry preferred; 2+ years of coding Service Now features or similar platforms preferred
* Experience in Operational support across ServiceNow, focusing on modules CMDB, ITSM, and ITOM Discovery modules
* Experience with ITIL Foundation level and other frameworks such as COBIT, IT4IT beneficial
* Experience with Web Services, API's, Database-level integrations/ETL
* Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.) and working a SaaS environment
* Experience in driving design and strategy around tools
* Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, and other technologies
* Communication skills, both written and spoken
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
