We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Android Lead to join our team of talented developers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Android application development(12+ years), coupled with proven leadership experience. As an Android Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of high-quality Android applications while providing technical leadership and mentoring to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Android developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and facilitating collaboration to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and contribute to the architecture and design of applications.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced Android applications that meet coding standards, performance benchmarks, and user experience expectations.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Android development.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Android development.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering their growth and technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of experience as an Android developer with a track record of delivering successful Android applications.
- Strong expertise in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Extensive knowledge of the Android SDK, different Android versions, and device screen sizes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration of external APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration, and deployment.
