DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in the Richmond, VA area.
*This position is on-site
Responsibilities:
Support the new job applicant background check and employment background check program that uses criminal justice data to help employers assess if a job applicant is qualified for a position or if an employee remains qualified after the employee was involved with a criminal justice event.
Apply advanced computer and analytical skills to research and resolve customer facing automated workflow problems.
Tracking background requests and subsequent processing to ensure processing occurs in a timely and accurate manner.
When problems are identified, the incumbent is responsible for researching and resolving problems.
Data analysis will often be required to identify and resolve problems.
The incumbent will prepare briefings, reports, and evaluations on system efficiency, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
5 Years - Advanced computer skills are required that aligns with the Job Description
5 Years - Ability to multitask and to determine root cause of problems and implement solutions,
5 Years - Ability to resolve issues by gathering and analyzing data, reasoning logically, and drawing valid conclusions
5 Years - Customer relations skills
5 Years - Good verbal and written communication skills
5 Years - Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
