Job Objective:

The Lead Web Experience Specialist manages digital content and functionality across all Copeland websites, including Optimizely and WordPress. The role involves maintaining and testing web components and collaborating with Marketing and IT teams to evaluate deployment outcomes.

Website Development and Maintenance (55%)

Assist in creating, updating, and auditing website pages as directed.

Support website governance through basic site, page, and asset reviews.

Help monitor and improve internal search results.

Contribute to the implementation of website architecture, design, and functionality based on established guidelines.

Support the deployment of website updates, ensuring performance and security standards are met.

Work with cross-functional teams to gather and apply website content and functionality requirements.

Help troubleshoot and escalate technical issues related to website performance, hosting, and integrations.

Technical Support and Implementation (15%)

Apply working knowledge of front-end and back-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks).

Assist in evaluating and implementing tools, frameworks, and plugins to improve website functionality.

Support the analysis and documentation of technical solutions.

Run basic website performance tests and report findings.

Build and maintain website prototypes or mockups as needed.

Integration (25%)

Coordinate with marketing, content, and IT teams to support CRM, analytics, and third-party API integrations.

Help ensure smooth integration between the website and other business systems.

Implement approved scripts and codes to support digital marketing initiatives (e.g., UTM parameters, Google reCAPTCHA, redirection, JSON, etc.).

Additional Functions (5%)

Perform other related duties as assigned, in alignment with the company's vision, mission, and policies.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Studies, Information Systems

WORK EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING
  • 2-3 years' experience in maintaining and supporting different website in an enterprise environment
  • Experience working with Content Management System (specifically Optimizely and WordPress) and SEO Tools is a plus
  • Hands on experience in Web Development such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX function
  • Experience on web service integration (JSON and API)
  • Familiarity with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in working with web content styles and branding guidelines
  • SEO experience
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Familiarity with software Adobe Suite such as Photoshop
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English Experience working with Content Management System (specifically Optimizely) and SEO Tools is a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery
  • Familiarity with CSS Framework like Bootstrap
  • Use of version control and Repository (GitHub)
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented programming and design patterns
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Ability to speak or write in another language is an advantage but not required, unless identified by the customer and support requirements
  • Computer application skills such as MS Office, Mainframe and other Business Systems and Tools
  • A strong sense commitment to get the job done accurately and with high quality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to assume cross-trained function in the event of low utilization
  • Ability to assume back up functions in the event of skills and capacity constraints

OTHER WORK CONDITIONS
  • Willing to work on shifting operations which may include weekends with scheduled days off, to support the assigned business and customers
  • Must be able to effectively and independently function while maintaining a positive energy level in an environment of constantly shifting demands
