Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary
The Salem Site Program Engineer (SPE) will be responsible for assigned Program(s) such as In-Service Testing, Valves, In-Service Inspection, Valves, or Fire Protection. The SPE is responsible for maintaining overall implementation and oversight of the assigned Program(s) for the Salem Station. Program engineering positions require maintaining Programs to meet regulatory requirements, industry excellence standards and provide industry leadership. The Program engineer performs monitoring, trending and assessing respective Program to improve reliability and ensure the station is meeting regulatory or industry best practices. Perform and support Program assessments, outage work scoping, Program related technical evaluations, trouble shooting and special Programmatic inspections by regulators, on site groups and industry peers. Tasks include maintaining necessary Program documentation, Program health reports, Program notebooks, and Program related procedures ensuring Program compliance with regulatory and design/license basis requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Provides support to the site on complex and strategic Program and process issues.
Provides strategy and support for special Programmatic inspections by regulators and industry.
Attends and represent PSEG Nuclear at industry conferences, training and meetings.
Leads diverse teams in resolving station issues.
Supports Emergency Preparedness Plan.
Supports the Engineering Duty Team
Job Specific Qualifications
BS Degree in Engineering (must graduate by summer 2025)
0 - 2 years of experience
Excellent written & oral communication skills
Ability to support shift work during plant outages and emergent situations
Ability to meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access and access industrial areas of nuclear power plant
Desired Skills:
BS Degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer, I&C, Power Systems Engineering
Knowledge of electrical power concepts and power systems analysis
Nuclear Power Plant Engineering and/or equivalent experience Current or Previous SRO license/certification
Experience managing projects and/or external vendors
Master's Degree US Navy Nuclear experience managing reliability of electrical/I&C systems and components
