Job Summary:
Windows -Vmware with AD Administrator associate is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance and Vmware platform management related to infrastructure support for our Microsoft Windows server hosted on Onprem or cloud. This role requires strong expertise in Windows and VMware administration, Cisco UCS-Converged Infrastructure, and AWS services such as Amazon S3 and EC2. The ideal candidate will enhance data accuracy, accessibility, and integration, contributing to strategic business goals and broader societal impact.
Job Summary (Simplified):
We are looking for someone to help manage and support our Windows servers and VMware systems. This person will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot systems both in our data centers (on-premises) and in the cloud. The job needs strong skills in Windows and VMware, as well as experience with Cisco UCS (server hardware) and cloud services like AWS (especially S3 and EC2). The goal is to keep everything running smoothly and make sure our data is accurate, easy to access, and well-integrated to support the company s goals.

8 to 10 years of Windows -Vmware with AD skill Administration experience where he should be subject matter expert (SME)

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting all Windows server related issue and windows administration.
VMware ESX Management and Troubleshooting and adminsitration
Scripting: Powershell or related automation competency will be an added advantage
Active Directory administration (ADFS Level 2 support), Windows Clustering and DNS support.
Installation and configuration of Active Directory domain controllers.
Managing of Group policy objects (GPO)
HyperV and Vmware vSphere virtualization and SAN competency.
Developing and deploying customized VMware solutions
Optimizing network hardware and software to enable VMware integration
Installing operating systems and service packs, as well as security patches and bug fixes
Virtualizing Windows servers and connecting them to networks and clouds
Knowledge on Windows Server build and tuning on any platform (On-prem or Vmware)
Mission critical systems support moves/adds/changes and interfacing with our change control software and approval process.
Systems tuning, performance monitoring and optimization.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
Analytical and logical thinking expertise.
24/7 is a mandate
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Windows and VMware administration.
Expertise in Cisco UCS-Converged Infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Amazon S3 and EC2.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in interpreting geospatial data for business insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proactive and adaptable to new technologies.
