As a Cloud Computing Application Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and modern cloud solutions supporting Public Health data modernization initiatives. In this role, you ll architect, optimize, and guide the delivery of cloud-based platforms that enable more effective data sharing, analytics, and decision-making across Public Health networks.
You ll apply your expertise in enterprise cloud design, automation, and migration to modernize legacy systems and enhance interoperability. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud architectures that enable Public Health data modernization. Architect and deploy enterprise applications and services in AWS and hybrid environments. Partner with data modernization teams to align cloud strategies with mission priorities and technical standards. Lead and advise engineering teams through cloud migrations, environment builds, and modernization initiatives. Develop and enforce best practices for security, automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure performance. Guide development of applications using .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL across cloud and on-premise systems. Build and optimize IaaS and PaaS environments, ensuring compliance, reliability, and operational efficiency. Research and recommend emerging cloud technologies to improve scalability and resilience. Mentor team members in architecture design, automation, and cloud operations best practices. |
