Building a Chatbot, used by everyone at Sentara. using MCP servers to connect with other applications, accounting services, document intelligence, and building an OCR app that takes patients' notes and analyses them and gives them back to the doctor electronically.
wants to move towards AI-driven development.

Tools: AI Foundry, AI Search.
Azure AI tools also include Vision, Speech, Language, Translator, Document Intelligence, and Content Safety. These were not mentioned on the call, but likely will be used to work on all the other lines of business for Sentara as AI evolves. Zach gave us some projects that the engineers will work on into next year, which will keep them busy.

Azure certification: AI 102 (Design and Implement Azure AI Solution) or AI 900 (AI Fundamentals), must know that. There are currently 2 MS Azure AI certifications on the market from MS: Azure AI Engineer Associate and Azure AI Fundamentals. safe to say we want someone who has both, if not an Azure AI Engineer.

Solid AI 900 knowledge would want someone who can understand/code typescript, node, python, and who loves AI coding. Wants someone who understands MCP servers, RAG, API management, and can code.

The key attribute he wants in a candidate would be to live, breathe, and sleep AI. Keep up with AI. Someone who has personal projects, built their own AI, can do "vibe code"
