The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Title: Senior Graph Database Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration/Type of Job: 12+ months
Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $70 to $90 hourly (Rate range is on C2C basis). Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
The Senior Graph Database Engineer will play a critical role in implementing and configuring Neo4J within the client environment to support an enterprise-wide consumer-facing Large Language Model (LLM) initiative. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building, integrating, and optimizing graph database solutions in Azure and ensuring seamless connectivity with AI frameworks, including Agentic AI architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure Neo4J to support enterprise AI initiatives.
- Build connectors and pipelines between Neo4J and LLM systems within an Agentic AI framework.
- Develop graph queries that enable natural language responses.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to integrate Neo4J with Microsoft Fabric and other systems.
- Establish and maintain a secure production environment in Azure.
- Implement CICD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code for deployment automation.
- Manage key vaults and ensure secure data access and storage.
- Support VPN pairing and secure data transfer between systems.
- Provide training and technical support for staff on Neo4J best practices.
- Work closely with AI and data science teams to ensure smooth integration with LLM and Agentic AI components.
Required Experience:
- Neo4J Expertise:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Neo4J implementation, configuration, and optimization.
- Strong proficiency in Cypher query language and graph modeling.
- Graph Database Background:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with graph databases in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to design and optimize graph schemas for performance and scalability.
- Agentic AI Integration:
- Experience integrating graph databases into AI frameworks, preferably Agentic AI architectures.
- Additional Must-Have Skills:
- Experience with Agentic Frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric for enterprise integration.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including updating data models.
- Strong DevOps experience for deployment and automation.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code for cloud environments.
- Security & Data Management:
- Knowledge of secure data practices, including key vaults and VPN configurations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other graph technologies (e.g., Amazon Neptune, Cosmos DB).
- Exposure to LLM integration with graph databases.
- Neo4J certification or equivalent credentials.
