Job Description -
Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Master Data Consultant - Hybrid (30% travel to Minneapolis, MN)
Location: Hybrid role with occasional travel (~30%) to Minneapolis, MN.
Role: Design, implement, and maintain master data governance and processes across the SAP S/4HANA landscape to ensure high-quality, consistent, and reliable master data for materials, customers, vendors, business partners, and finance.
15+ years of experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Configuration
- Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of master data processes in SAP S/4HANA.
- Configure and maintain Business Partner (BP), Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Pricing, and Plant/Storage-related master data.
- Implement and support MDG (Master Data Governance) or other master data management tools integrated with S/4HANA.
- Ensure accurate setup of number ranges, field controls, and custom attributes.
- Manage data migration activities using tools such as LTMC, LTMOM, BODS, or SAP Data Services.
- Data Governance & Quality
- Define and enforce master data standards, validation rules, and governance policies.
- Collaborate with business users and IT teams to maintain data integrity and consistency across modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM).
- Perform data audits, cleansing, and harmonization between legacy and SAP systems.
- Design and execute data validation and reconciliation strategies during migrations or cutovers.
