Job Details

Location/Remote: 100% remote must be willing to work Eastern Time business hours

 

Employment Type: 6-month W-2/1099 contract (eligible to extend)

 

Compensation: Up to $32/hour W-2 or $39/hour 1099/Independent Contractor (i.e., no 3rd party C2C)

Expected Work Schedule Ramp-Up:

 

  • July 7th (approx.): Around 8 hours/week
  • July 15th (approx.): Up to 20 hours/week
  • Third week of July: Approximately 20 hours/week
  • Fourth week of July: Approximately 32 hours/week
  • Beginning of August: Transition to consistent 40 hours/week

 

We're looking for a talented and meticulous Web Content Specialist to join our web content team. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging web content across our digital platforms. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure our online presence is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicates our message.

 

This position will start part-time, with the expectation to transition to full-time by the first week of August.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Author, edit, and publish web content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Content Management System (CMS).
  • Collaborate with the web content team and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Manage and organize digital assets within a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Ensure all web content is optimized for search engines and user experience.
  • Participate in content strategy discussions and contribute to the overall digital content roadmap.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve content-related issues within the CMS.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience as a Content Author or similar role, specifically with AEM as a CMS.
  • Familiarity with other content management systems, such as Sanity, is a plus.
  • Experience working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Strong understanding of web content best practices, including SEO and user experience.
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Medical industry experience is preferred.
