Structural /Civil Designer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Position type: Contract to hire
Pay: $36-$48
We're looking for an experienced Structural/Civil Designer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you'll support a variety of industrial and manufacturing projects, taking ownership of planning, analysis, site evaluations, and the development of detailed structural drawings and construction documents.

We're looking for an experienced Structural/Civil Designer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you'll support a variety of industrial and manufacturing projects, taking ownership of planning, analysis, site evaluations, and the development of detailed structural drawings and construction documents.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with developing, and drawings/designing civil and structural layouts to reinforces steel and concrete structures
- Perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling using industry-standard tools and practices.
- Analyze surveys, maps for designing planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Project Managers, Engineers, Designers) to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Drafting Technology is a plus or related field
- 7 years experience
- Expert in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation and SP3D are a plus.
- Deep knowledge of Structural design principles, codes, and calculation methods.
- Ability to interpret and apply design standards across disciplines.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Rebar, Steel and Concrete
- Exposed to fabrication is a plus
- Elevation and rebar knowledge a plus
- Able to visualize pieces of structural put together such as Steel and Concrete
