Job Details

Position: Helpdesk Analyst

Duration: 2 months- extension possible

Location: 111 Sewall Street, Augusta, ME

Work Location: 100% Onsite, with routine travel within 10 miles of Augusta, ME and some travel outside of the Augusta area in which a State vehicle would be utilized.

Years of Relevant Experience: 3-5 years in the desired environment

Preferred Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent experience

Role Description:

  • Equipment set up (Laptops, docking stations, monitors, etc.).
  • Maintain inventory log.
  • Proactively assist end users with simple desktop support.
  • Ensure that all work is documented for future reference.
  • Follow quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
  • Provide accurate and complete answers to general use and environment questions in a timely manner.
  • Provide desktop computer support.
  • Attend and participate in bi-weekly team and problem review meetings.
  • Manage the retirement and disposal of obsolete computer equipment.
