Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Intune Administrator to join a dynamic team supporting both manufacturing systems and customer service operations. This role fills a key position in a high-visibility site that hosts client visits and includes over 70 on-site staff across R&D, supply chain, transportation, and customer service. As the primary IT presence at the site, you will handle Level 2 support requests, with occasional Level 1 tasks. You will also provide support and engineering for manufacturing systems, IT infrastructure, Active Director, Intune and PowerShell - ensuring reliable and secure operations across the facility.

 

The role involves end-to-end support of enterprise desktop systems, including packaging and deploying software using PowerShell, developing installation packages for Windows and mobile platforms, and automating updates to minimize manual effort. The engineer supports approximately 200,000 devices across hardware, software, and OS migrations—including Windows 10 SAC upgrades—and performs scripted health checks to proactively remediate system issues. Responsibilities also include deploying security patches within strict timelines, troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 applications, and contributing to Microsoft Modern Workplace initiatives. In addition to technical execution, the role requires documenting processes, managing change requests, addressing tickets, collaborating with vendors, and supporting deployment efforts with knowledge transfer and end-user training. Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently research, implement, and support complex technology solutions are essential.

 

Location: Onsite – Fort Worth, TX
Duration: 6–12 months (Contract-to-Hire)

 

Responsibilities:

Intune Administration & App Packaging:

  • Build and test application deployment packages using Intune.
  • Configure Conditional Access policies, compliance profiles, and user-based access rules.
  • Create and manage Azure AD or on-prem Active Directory groups tied to deployments.
  • Serve as the on-site Level 2 IT support resource for end users in a manufacturing and office environment
  • Manage incidents, requests, and problem resolutions using ServiceNOW
  • Perform device imaging, patching, break-fix support, and application troubleshooting
  • Provide support for both standard office hardware/software and manufacturing-specific systems
  • Perform ITSM processes including Incident, Request, Problem, and Knowledge Management
  • Coordinate asset management and provide generalprinter support across departments
  • Support user identity and access via Active Directory, Entra ID, and other identity platforms
  • Collaborate with corporate IT teams to implement and maintain system updates, security policies, and endpoint management tools
  • Assist with client visit readiness from a technology perspective (e.g., conference room AV, demo systems)

 

Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience supporting IT in manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with:
    • ServiceNOW (ticketing system)
  • Microsoft Intune(Autopilot, endpoint management, application packaging and deployment)
  • Active Directory(user and identity management, machine and user policies)
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Windows OS
    • Imaging, patching, and troubleshooting endpoint devices
    • Client and printer management
  • Familiarity with ITSM practices (Incident, Request, Knowledge, Configuration Management)

 

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • SCCM, Entra ID, JAMF, CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Automox
  • Support for Apple devices and systems
  • Security and compliance awareness within a regulated environment

Certifications:

  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified (preferred)
  • Apple Certified Technician, Security+ (nice to have)
