For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.

YOUR IMPACT
Corporate Treasury Operations is a sub division of Corporate Treasury. As a global, multi-faceted and cross product sub division, the primary objectives are to mitigate payment and liquidity risk through the active monitoring of critical transactions and ownership of the front to back processing across the firm. Corporate Treasury Operations has a unique role that requires interactions across all our firmwide businesses and engagement with external industry bodies. Corporate Treasury Operations is currently 300+ staff strong globally, with regional presence in Salt Lake City, Dallas, New York, London, Bangalore, Singapore, Tokyo, and many other offices, all working closely together.

OUR IMPACT

The Central Authentication function is a payment control team which service clients across the firm while streamlining the process to be innovative and industry-leading . The individual will be responsible to manage fraud and payment accuracy, while working with the global team to define and build business engagement model.

The Policy Enforcement team partners with the thousands of payment users in our firm to engage businesses to review and minimize bespoke processes. This team validates and report on our payment landscape, implements data dashboard to oversight risk, and performs quality assurance reviews to govern our program.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Partner with business units to challenge best practices in the payments space using detailed knowledge of policy and procedure allowing you to advice on the best methods of payment creation and validation
  • Day to day responsibility for verifying the accuracy of payment instructions using a variety of systems and direct client interaction
  • Assist in uplifting procedure to support GS business model improving client service and ensure the highest standards of control
  • Work with the global team to design the target operating model and write the requirements for the Technology enhancements
  • Use innovation and BI to develop new tools to streamline process and mitigate risk to improve quality and client service
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of one year of full time Operations work experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, effective problem solving ability
  • Ability to ensure that controls are in place and procedures are followed
  • Proven analytical skills and a control mentality
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience managing day to day payment risk
  • Knowledge of international payments and/experience in international payment systems
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $70000-$95000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
