Summary:
The Senior Manager, Cell Therapy Development Operations Finance Excellence will be responsible for supporting global process continuous improvements with a focus on inventory and fixed assets. Education/Experience:
- Seven (7) years of accounting / finance experience supporting operational unit and business controls, with 3 plus years in pharmaceutical industry.
- BS/BA in Accounting/Finance, CPA/equivalent or MBA
- Strong finance management and business partnering skills.
- Manufacturing finance experience
- Strong understanding of fixed assets and inventory accounting and related business processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to develop solutions to diverse business problems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences
- Comprehensive knowledge of business controls and US GAAP.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment often with aggressive deadlines, multiple deliverables, and quick turnarounds.
- Experience with SAP and/or Oracle ERP system.
- Strong PC skills including excellent proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and data analytic tools such as TM1, Business Objects or comparable.
- Internal Controls Experience
Knowledge/Skills:
- Data Manipulation using Excel
- Working with matrix partners/business partners
Responsibilities:
- Support monitoring analytics for finance surrounding CTDO activities.
- Work with Supply Chain and Inventory Process Excellence team to support inventory forecasting process.
- Proactively support internal control compliance across the CTDO organization, including process improvements for inventory and fixed assets.
- Collaborate with GPS Technical Accounting and Business Control Function teams to ensure the CTDO organization is maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Look for opportunities to standardize internal controls over financial reporting.
- Monitor fixed asset and inventory controls. Prepare / review reconciliations and test related controls where appropriate.
- Support internal audits and SOX compliance testing of CTDO plants / processes, lead remediation of identified control deficiencies
- Support CTDO Finance on ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Pay: $100-$105/hr
