Job Description:
Summary
Provides input to team leads on database matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Serves as the technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of database technology solutions. Assist with the design, analysis, development, and implementation of database infrastructure solutions of projects and/or work requests for complex business solutions. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving complex database compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc. May be involved in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs and may resolve escalated database compatibility problems as they arise. Technologies span cloud (preferably AWS RDS), MS SQL (a must), PowerShell, MySQL, Aurora Postgres.
Job Description
Works with the lead technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions. Provides input in the design, analysis, development and implementation of database infrastructure solutions of projects and/or work requests for complex business solutions. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving complex database compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc. May assist in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs and may resolve escalated database compatibility problems as they arise. Must be able to take direction from more senior advisors. Technologies span desktop, server, network data, database, cloud deployments and services infrastructure. Focuses on providing inputs and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
Major Duties:
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Partner with enterprise Infrastructure team to drive infrastructure decisions for the Cornerstone program, including database, cloud, and environment strategies (including automation of Infrastructure as code)
Work collaboratively with other Technology team members to support databases approach, maintenance, data and integrations infrastructure, etc.
Installation of tools to support core application
Troubleshoot issues in non-production environments
Assist with the planning and coordinate third party application software upgrades in all environments
Work on custom automation solutions to support the team
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a database environment managing infrastructure components
1+ years of experience working on complex, enterprise level platforms or solutions
1+ years of experience with Cloud infrastructure (AWS) and automation of Infrastructure using MS SQL, AWS RDS, My SQL, Aurora Postgres or similar technologies
Good written communication
Ability to develop a working knowledge of the technical domain to effectively support technical risks that may arise.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent complex infrastructure troubleshooting and risk assessment skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous support of QNXT, Facets or similar COTS application
4 years of experience in same or similar field
Medicare/Medicaid knowledge
