Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite)

Contract Type: 12+ Months (Potential for extension or full-time conversion)

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master to join our team in Denver, CO. As a servant leader, you will coach and support Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and work closely with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-groomed and prioritized. This role requires a deep understanding of the Scrum framework and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.


Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices to enhance team performance and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
  • Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts).
  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure team productivity and focus.
  • Promote a culture of self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Shield the team from external distractions and interferences.
  • Monitor for Agile anti-patterns and coach the team to avoid them.
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and organizational standards.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Experience in scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
  • Background in software development or technical project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
