Role and responsibilities:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Clarity PPM to support, enhance, and optimize our enterprise project and portfolio management ecosystem. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Clarity PPM is configured and utilized to meet strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with PMO, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Configure Clarity PPM modules including Projects, Portfolios, Resources, Financials, and Timesheets.
  • Design and implement workflows, business rules, and approval processes.
  • Support project lifecycle management, including demand intake, capacity planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in project governance and portfolio management.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams for enhancements and issue resolution.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Customize Clarity PPM using Studio, Processes, Portlets, and Lookups.
  • Develop and maintain Jaspersoft reports and dashboards.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
  • Support data integrations with external systems (e.g., JIRA, SAP, ServiceNow) using REST APIs or middleware tools.
  • Perform system administration tasks including user provisioning, access control, and performance monitoring.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patching, and testing activities.

Required Technical Skills

  • 3 5+ years of hands-on experience with Clarity PPM (Broadcom/CA).

Proficiency in:

  • Clarity Studio (Object configuration, Attributes, Views)
  • Jaspersoft Studio for report development
  • SQL (Oracle or SQL Server)
  • REST APIs for integration
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Service Management principles.
  • Experience with data migration, ETL, or middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) is a plus.
