RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Software Dev Engineer II in Redmond, WA.
Summary:
The Software Dev Engineer II is responsible for delivering software and frameworks that improve speed and quality of testing of satellite components. We partner with engineering and production teams to bring reliability and repeatability to our systems, improve throughput and accelerate the transition. In this role, you will participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and deployment to operations. You will build software that runs on Company cloud service and should have hands-on experience on cloud computing concepts.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* 3 to 5 years of experience
* Experience in backend services in Java or another object-oriented programming language along with knowledge of cloud services - IAM, LAMBDA, No-SQL /document DB, Fargate, SNS, SQS
* Python, C++
* Working with test systems, hardware integrations
* Design patterns, reliability and scaling
* Leadership Principle: Customer Obsession, logical coding
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
