Job Description: Senior OpenText Exstream Developer

  • U.S.: Local to Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week)
About the Role
We are seeking Senior OpenText Exstream Developers with 8+ years of experience to join our client s development team. The ideal candidates will have deep expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining OpenText Exstream solutions, with a strong background in jobs development and maintenance. These are long-term contract opportunities; one based in the U.S. (Chicago-local) and one offshore (India-remote).
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain OpenText Exstream applications.
  • Build, enhance, and optimize document composition jobs.
  • Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and bug fixes in existing applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, QA, project managers) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support ongoing maintenance and enhancements of document generation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and client requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream.
  • Strong expertise in job development and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of document composition, formatting, and workflow automation.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
