Job Location: Berkeley Height, NJ - Hybrid

Job Type: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description:

1. Lead EMV L3 certification testing for various payment networks.
2. Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios based on card brand specifications.
3. Analyse message formats, debug authorization/settlement errors, and troubleshoot communication protocols.
4. Collaborate with development, compliance, and product teams to resolve issues and ensure certification success.
5. Provide technical guidance to internal teams and clients on EMV certification requirements and best practices.
6. Validate transaction flows to optimize approvals, reduce declines, and ensure compliance with interchange requirements.
7. Maintain documentation, update test cases, and recommend process improvements.
8. Work independently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 5+ years of experience in EMV L3 testing, certification, or payment systems validation.
2. Strong knowledge of EMV, NFC, Contactless Payments, and Compliance.
3. Hands-on experience with Payment processing platforms preferably on North Nash, South compass, Buypass, ISO 8583 message formats, and certification tools.
4. Expertise in debugging transaction flows and troubleshooting issues across different payment networks.
5. Familiarity with compliance and brand-specific certification requirements (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, etc.).
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to engage with technical and business stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and test management tools.
