Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled TIBCO MFT Automation Engineer to support secure file transfer operations for U.S. Government programs. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in TIBCO MFT technologies, automation scripting, and federal security compliance frameworks. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and automated file transfer solutions across multiple platforms and agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain TIBCO MFT Platform Server and AWS environments.
- Work with Government team members to configure the site-to-site VPN.
- Implement secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2) in compliance with federal standards.
- Manage high-volume, mission-critical file transfers across internal and external networks.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Ansible to streamline file transfer operations.
- Integrate MFT workflows with enterprise systems and federal data exchange platforms.
- Implement job scheduling and orchestration using tools like Task scheduler, Stonebranch, Control-M, or Cron.
- Ensure all file transfer operations comply with FISMA, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and DoD STIGs.
- Implement encryption standards (PGP, TLS, SSH) and secure key management practices.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans, patching, and security audits.
- Support incident response and forensic analysis related to file transfer systems.
- Monitor file transfer operations using tools like Splunk, ELK Stack, or SolarWinds.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for MFT-related issues and outages.
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, SOPs, and security controls.

Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Active clearance (Public Trust or higher).
- 5+ years of experience with TIBCO MFT in secure government environments.
- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with federal security frameworks (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP).
- Familiarity with secure data exchange between federal agencies.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Connect: Direct, GoAnywhere, or other MFT platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-based MFT solutions (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
- Certifications: TIBCO Certified Professional.
