Job Title: Workday Business Systems Analyst – Security

Location: Remote

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Contingent Worker with highly skilled Workday Security Administrator to join our dynamic team for a period of 10-12-months. This individual will be responsible for configuring, managing, and maintaining the security framework of our Workday environment, ensuring that roles, permissions, and access are appropriately assigned to maintain system security and compliance. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of Workday security model and best practices, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally with HCM/Payroll, IT, and Financials.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workday Security Configuration: Design, implement, and maintain security roles, security groups, and permissions within the Workday environment.
  • User Access Management: Administer user access requests and ensure all requests are processed in compliance.
  • Audits: Execute and support multiple audits supported by the team.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve Workday security-related issues, including access problems, permission errors, and role misconfigurations.
  • Impact Analysis: Assess the Impact for Workday and Adaptive planning Security.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, other technical training in business, or equivalent.

 

Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience as business systems analyst.
  • 3-5 years of experience in designing and configuring Workday security for HCM and/or Financials.
  • Experience with security around Payroll, Time Tracking, Purchasing, Financials Accounting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the Workday security model, including business processes, roles, and domains.
  • Extensive in-depth knowledge of multiple enterprise applications.
  • Experience with Workday reporting and analytics related to security and access.
  • Experience with Adaptive planning security is a plus.
  • Experience in conducting and supporting audits is a plus.

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Workday security architecture, roles and security groups, Domain Security Policies, and Workday Business Processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Workday integrations and their impact on security configurations. 
  • Ability to gather requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with business owners. 
  • Ability to create detailed and thorough test plans for medium-sized initiatives.
