Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Helpdesk Specialist to join a collaborative IT support team serving approximately 500 corporate users. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in enterprise environments who are comfortable resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and user access systems. You'll be part of a high-performing team that resolves the majority of incoming tickets and plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency across the organization.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Helpdesk Specialist to join a collaborative IT support team serving approximately 500 corporate users. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in enterprise environments who are comfortable resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and user access systems. You'll be part of a high-performing team that resolves the majority of incoming tickets and plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for workstation issues, password resets, and basic break/fix troubleshooting.
- Support and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Outlook, licensing), Active Directory, and VPN connectivity.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding users, MFA setup, and VDI solutions.
- Reimage laptops and configure profiles using Intune (MDM).
- Manage and resolve tickets using a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred).
- Apply diagnostic tools and online resources to aid in problem resolution.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
- Participate in software rollouts, upgrades, and code deployments.
- Maintain documentation and provide timely reports on ticket status and project updates.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and data security standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of helpdesk or technical support experience in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows 10, Microsoft 365, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience working in a ticketing queue and resolving issues independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support non-technical users.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Intune, SharePoint, and VDI environments.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies (O365, AWS).
- Knowledge of network protocols, Dell One Identity Manager, and endpoint management tools.
