Job Details

The VP of Technology will oversee the R&D, will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure that technology development and product strategy align with business goals and market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Technology & Engineering Leadership
  • Lead R&D, engineering, and product development efforts, fostering innovation, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Define and execute technology strategy in alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Enhance leadership in millimeter and terahertz imaging technology.
  • Establish and implement best practices in software and systems architecture, embedded systems, AI, data analytics, security, and compliance.
  • Ensure product reliability, performance, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Product Strategy & Execution
  • Oversee the full product development lifecycle-from early-stage R&D to commercialization and scaling.
  • Manage the transition from prototyping to production, optimizing for cost, efficiency, and performance.
  • Define and drive the technical product roadmap in collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving security needs.
Production & Manufacturing Operations
  • Lead manufacturing strategy and oversee contracted manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Optimize production workflows in partnership with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, quality control, and supply chain resilience.
  • Strengthen vendor partnerships and streamline contract manufacturing relationships.
Key Qualifications & Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in technology leadership, product development, and systems engineering.
  • Strong background in software, full-stack development, or embedded IoT systems.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams (hardware, software, and R&D).
  • Expertise in integrating hardware and software within complex product ecosystems; AI experience is a plus.
  • Track record of transforming innovation into successful commercial products.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience in public security, defense, industrial hardware, or high-tech industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced, early-stage environments and agile development teams.
