Piper Companies is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to work a hybrid schedule in Durham, NC for an Insurance company that specializes in retirement solutions. As a Full Stack Software Engineer your day-to-day includes applying REST APIs and application UIs, ensuring software efficiency, and contributing your knowledge of Node and React to the team.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Engineer include:

Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and intuitive user interfaces that support seamless user experiences and business functionality.

Monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance speed and efficiency.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and technical issues across the stack.

Qualifications for the Splunk Architect include:

2-5 years of experience building and maintaining full stack applications in a professional setting.

Comfortable working with backend technologies like Node.js or Java (8+), and confident writing SQL for relational databases.

Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks, preferably ReactJS and TypeScript.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Compensation for the Splunk Architect includes:

Salary: $82,000 - $120,000 annually

Competitive bonus plan

Hybrid schedule - 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
