Job Description:
Summary - Senior Modern Workplace Architect - Hybrid 2 days/week onsite - Greenville, SC - W2 Only, No C2C
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Modern Workplace Architect is responsible for designing modern workplace solutions including Azure, Active Directory, and modern device management solutions (PC and mobile). Additionally, this role includes providing strategy, and service redesign services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design life cycle processes including the recommendation, deployment, standardization, maintenance and replacement of current and emerging PC technologies
  • Remain current on emerging and innovative technologies for end user computing
  • Accountable for developing and updating solution design documentations that defines the target architecture for new services that will be consumed
  • Maintain an awareness of developments and best practice, and adapt and apply new and appropriate ideas
  • Work closely with colleagues in the delivery teams to ensure solutions are handed over appropriately and with clarity
  • Overall responsibility of developing and maintaining the Modern Workplace Roadmap.
  • Drive the deployment of solutions by establishing relationships with key technical and non-technical decision makers to resolve business problems and develop impactful solutions and long-term cloud adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with the Group Technology and Change Architecture Team, collectively owning the simplification of their systems and the reduction of Technical and Solution Debt.
  • Responsible for 'last line of support' for Modern Workplace Solutions


QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Systems or related technical field required At least 10 years of IT related experience, 5 years as an IT Architect Strong foundation in core Microsoft infrastructure technologies Strong foundation in Intune management of endpoint devices as well as application delivery Strong foundation in Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD) Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies as Delivery Optimization, Autopatch, Autopilot Strong ability to lead a multi-cultural, physically distributed in different counties team Strong ability to foster teamwork and trust within our team and with multiple outside teams Strong analysis and decision making Working knowledge of Vmware Horizon, Horizon Cloud, Microsoft SCCM, Working knowledge of ITIL process Ability to create and deliver presentations to multiple levels in the organization IT and Business Self-starter, team player and good communicator Nice to have Integration knowledge of ServiceNOW
