Join a dynamic team working alongside the Senior Systems Analyst and Systems Architect to develop, configure, deploy, and maintain a specialized on-premises software system for the analysis of nuclear weapon effects. This container-based solution runs in Kubernetes and operates in a hybrid Linux and Windows environment.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, test, and administer Kubernetes-based container solutions across unclassified and classified environments.
- Diagnose and resolve system and configuration issues affecting performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with the systems administrator to troubleshoot complex operational challenges.
- Partner with the US Government's IT team to deploy Kubernetes-based containers within an on-premises cloud infrastructure.
- Support the configuration of closed networks and firewalls, ensuring secure internal and external system access.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Computer Engineering (12-15 years of experience) | MS preferred (10-13 years of experience)
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI required
- Technical Expertise:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux - L1 certification (Linux+)
- Windows Server 2019
- Building and maintaining container OS images
- Deploying, managing, and debugging containers in Kubernetes clusters
- Administration and troubleshooting of PostgreSQL and PostGIS databases
- Applying security patches and enforcing security policy lockdowns
- Linux shell scripting
- Java programming
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ArcGIS Server & ArcGIS Pro
- Familiarity with NGINX, Istio, Kafka, Keycloak, and Splunk
