job summary:

The Software Development Engineer in Test is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated end-to-end (E2E) tests for our cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will work closely with development teams to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards. You will also adhere to robust QA processes, including writing test strategies, test cases, and ensuring comprehensive testing traceability. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team by driving quality engineering practices and supporting the delivery of reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions.

responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end tests for complex cloud-based applications.


? Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.


? Perform API testing to ensure data integrity and system reliability


? Develop automated test frameworks


? Automate test cases using the same coding languages (Java, Javascript, C#, etc.) as their developers


? Collaborate with developers in reviewing unit test and integration results for coverage analysis


? Create a branching strategy and policies for high-quality automation deliverables




qualifications:

5+ years of experience as an SDET or in a similar role, with a focus on automated testing.


? Strong expertise in writing E2E tests using tools like Selenium, JUnit, Playwright or similar.


? Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.


? Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and SaaS environments, including CI/CD pipelines. Education:


? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.




skills: Hands-on experience in writing test strategies, test plans, and test cases.


? Strong understanding of testing traceability and best practices in QA processes.


? Hands on experience on automated test framework creation


? Experience in developing pipelines for CI/CD deployments Problem-Solving & Collaboration:


? Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues.


? Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
