Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to design, document, and analyze tax and OMS business processes.
- Define and validate integration specifications between Manhattan OMS, Vertex O Series, and SFCC for seamless order flow and tax calculation.
- Work closely with the Vertex implementation team to configure and validate tax rules, jurisdictions, exemptions, and returns processing.
- Participate in integration design meetings and create necessary documentation.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), debug defects, and coordinate issue resolution across teams.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency between OMS, SFCC, Vertex, and downstream systems such as ERP (e.g., SAP).
- Assist in end-to-end process documentation and develop operational handover materials.
- Provide post go-live support, including defect triage and production issue analysis.
- Evaluate integration performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization opportunities across OMS-Tax-Web flows.
- Ensure tax configurations and order flows comply with audit and regulatory standards, coordinating with Finance and Tax teams as needed.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, prepare training materials, and deliver walkthroughs for business users and support teams post go-live.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably in Retail, eCommerce, or OMS implementations.
- Must have JIRA, POSTMAN, and JSON experience.
- Hands-on experience integrating with Order Management Systems (preferably Manhattan OMS).
- Knowledge of Vertex O Series (Cloud/SaaS) or similar tax engines (e.g., Avalara, Thomson Reuters).
- Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (iPaaS), and integration mapping.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and process flow design.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and integration testing tools such as Postman and SOAPUI.
- Understanding of retail order lifecycle, taxation logic, and payment flows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, infrastructure, vendors).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
