Schedule: Wednesday/Thursday - Saturday | 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Every other week)
Hours per Week: 40 hrs (Overtime up to 8 hrs)
Pay Rate (Max): $20/hr to $25/hr W2
Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Support Technician I to support and maintain the hardware infrastructure for the latest cloud computing server technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced data center environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support server and network hardware infrastructure.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting and root cause analysis on servers and network devices.
- Execute diagnostics via command-line tools and document resolutions.
- Replace or repair faulty hardware components as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Operate effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
- Adhere to safety and security protocols when working in restricted data center areas.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT, help desk, or hands-on hardware support.
- Solid understanding of computers, servers, and network devices.
- Proficiency with command line diagnostics and basic network troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (for AWS GovCloud region access).
- Experience in data center operations or enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of hardware replacement, server builds, and network cabling.
- Familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto, or Meraki networking equipment.
