Description
We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Arlington, Virginia. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing and managing social media strategies for B2B clients across various industries. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for digital marketing and a strong understanding of social media trends and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Implement and schedule engaging content across platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Instagram.
Follow content calendars provided by the strategy team to ensure timely and effective posting.
Monitor social media channels, respond to audience interactions, and escalate issues when necessary.
Track and analyze performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and visuals across all platforms.
Stay informed about current social media trends and best practices relevant to B2B industries.
Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing strategies.
Use tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar to streamline social media management.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience managing social media platforms, preferably in a B2B or marketing agency environment.
Proficiency in social media scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar.
Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics and native platform insights.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently as a self-starter.
Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Express, or other basic graphic design tools is a plus.
Experience with LinkedIn publishing and advertising tools is an advantage.
