Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Bay Area
Experience: 5-6 Years
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager with 5-6 years of proven experience in the IT Services industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic hunter and a relationship-focused farmer, responsible for driving new business acquisition in the US market while nurturing and expanding our existing key accounts. Your expertise in solution selling, staffing, vendor management, and MSP programs will be critical to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Proactively identify, qualify, and generate new sales leads through targeted outbound efforts, professional networking, and market research.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate new accounts within the US market, specifically focusing on IT solution selling and staffing services.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Key Account Management & Growth:
- Manage, nurture, and grow relationships with key existing accounts to maximize client lifetime value.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction, identify new needs, and present additional service offerings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client retention.
- Vendor Management & Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Negotiate favorable terms and manage vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- MSP & SOW Management:
- Leverage expertise in Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs to effectively navigate client vendor management systems and secure staffing contracts.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage Statement of Work (SOW) agreements for project-based IT services, ensuring clarity, profitability, and timely delivery.
- Strategic Market Research & Networking:
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions in the US IT services and staffing landscape.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of direct experience in a Business Development or Sales role within the IT Services, IT Staffing, or Solution Selling industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with a focus on both new logo acquisition and account growth.
- Demonstrable experience in:
- Lead Generation and New Business Development for IT staffing.
- Vendor and Client Relationship Management.
- Managing and growing key accounts in the US market.
- Navigating and winning business through MSP (Managed Service Provider) programs.
- Creating and managing SOW (Statement of Work) and Account Management.
- Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and the competitive staffing landscape.
