Job Title: Foreman
Location: Houston , TX

Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $35 - $40 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical Foreman who will oversee daily operations on construction sites, with a particular focus on electrical installations and systems. This role includes managing crew members, reading blueprints, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring all work meets local building codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a small team of laborers and skilled tradespeople on job sites.
  • Perform and oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Plan and delegate daily tasks to meet project timelines.
  • Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
  • Communicate regularly with the owner and clients to report progress or issues.
  • Train and mentor junior crew members as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Licensed electrician or journeyman-level electrical experience (state license preferred).
  • Strong understanding of residential and light commercial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents.
  • Comfortable managing small crews and working hands-on when needed.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or willing to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a small business environment or startup construction company.
  • Familiarity with project management software or digital reporting tools.
