ServiceNow Expertise
o Strong knowledge of CMDB module, CI classes, and relationships.
o Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integration Hub ETL.
o Familiarity with ITOM and ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem).
ITIL Framework
o Solid understanding of Configuration Management principles and ITIL v4.
Data Management
o CI lifecycle management, data normalization, and duplicate elimination.
o Automated discovery and reconciliation tools.
Integration & Scripting
o Ability to configure integrations with SCCM, AD, and other systems.
o Basic scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) for workflow customization.
Reporting & Governance
o CMDB Health Dashboard, audit reports, and compliance checks.
CMDB design and governance implementation.
CI identification rules and attribute mapping.
Service mapping for applications and infrastructure.
Knowledge of asset management and software license compliance
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain CMDB accuracy and enforce compliance with standards.
Coordinate with network, application, and asset teams for CI updates.
Implement and monitor Discovery schedules and service maps.
Perform data audits, resolve normalization issues, and ensure integrity.
Support platform upgrades, patching, and UAT for CMDB-related changes.
Create and maintain documentation (SOPs, design docs, governance playbooks).
Provide stakeholder training and periodic health reports.

Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Project management and ability to prioritize tasks.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Ability to mentor teams and enforce governance.
