Module Expertise: Variable Incentive Compensation (VIC)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle SPM Developer with strong hands-on expertise in the Variable Incentive Compensation (VIC) module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle SPM/VIC solutions to streamline and enhance incentive compensation processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and maintain Oracle SPM (VIC) solutions to support variable compensation planning, calculation, and reporting.
Implement and maintain compensation plans, formulas, payment workflows, and crediting rules.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver scalable technical solutions.
Perform data integrations, validations, and transformations across systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, CRM, ERP).
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes for system-related problems.
Ensure proper documentation of configurations, customizations, and development processes.
Support testing, user training, and go-live activities.
Adhere to security, compliance, and best practices in Oracle SPM deployments.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Sales Performance Management (SPM) with a focus on the Variable Incentive Compensation (VIC) module.
Strong understanding of compensation plan design, crediting, roll-ups, and calculation engines in Oracle VIC.
Experience with Oracle Incentive Compensation data models and payment processing.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and working with relational databases (Oracle DB).
Experience with data integration tools (e.g., ODI, Informatica) and API-based integration.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications or Cloud VIC implementations.
Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher or Oracle Analytics for reporting.
Understanding of data security and user roles within Oracle VIC.
