Role and Responsibilities:
Architecture Strategy & Governance Define the target architecture for Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Service) and F&O (Finance, SCM) aligned with business goals and transformation roadmap.
Ensure architectural alignment with the Calandra Phase 1 End-State and Medallion Data Architecture.
Govern architecture decisions across POD-based delivery teams and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Platform Modernization & Integration
Lead the re-platforming of B2B and B2C ERP and CRM systems from AX 2009 to Dynamics 365.
Architect seamless integrations with:
Shopify, Espresa, Paymentech, SendGrid
Databricks Lakehouse (bronze-silver-gold layers)
Microsoft Dataverse and Customer Insights
Design and oversee implementation of Dual-write between D365 CE and F&O for real-time data synchronization.
Data & AI Enablement:
Architect data flows between D365 and Databricks for Pet Registry and Microchip Registry.
Enable AI-powered capabilities using Microsoft Copilot for customer interaction summaries and forecasting.
Support data exposure and insights delivery through Dataverse and Power BI.
Enterprise Structure & Security
Design enterprise structures to support 10 legal entities (3 holding, 7 transactional) across B2B and B2C operations.
Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant architecture across all business units and geographies.
Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate with delivery managers, change leads, and technical architects to ensure cohesive execution.
Provide architectural guidance to development, integration, and data teams.
Participate in architecture review boards and steering committees.
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. 1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. 2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. 3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. 4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. 5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with at least 5 years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE & F&O.
Deep expertise in:
D365 Sales, Service, Finance, SCM modules
Azure Integration Services, Databricks, Power Platform
Dual-write, Dataverse, and Microsoft Copilot
Proven experience in large-scale ERP/CRM transformations and data platform modernization.
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, security, and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
Experience with IPPD 365 or similar delivery frameworks
Familiarity with AI/ML integration in enterprise platforms
