  • Mix of a data engineer and cloud engineer. Azure (Data Factory), PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, python.

responsibilities:


  • Technical leader -leading define, build, prove cycles.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Expert collaborator.
  • Continuous learner.
  • Mentor and coach to the team's data engineering associates.


qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required and at least 10 years of hands-on experience in data and cloud Engineering
  • Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)
  • Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning.
  • Public Cloud expertise (Azure preferred)
  • Experience working with large data sets.


skills:

  • Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development.
  • Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.
  • Familiarity with large complex system design
  • Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus.
  • Shell scripting experience.
  • Linux environment experience.
  • Financial services experience preferred.
