Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cataract and Glaucoma Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Maryland. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced surgical techniques for cataract and glaucoma management, committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and capable of working in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform cataract and glaucoma surgeries with a high standard of precision and safety.

Diagnose and manage patients with glaucoma and cataract conditions.

Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.

Prescribe appropriate treatments and follow-up plans for patients.

Maintain accurate patient medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best patient outcomes.

Stay updated on latest advancements in ophthalmology and surgical practices.

Required Qualifications:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Completed residency in Ophthalmology.

Fellowship training in Glaucoma Surgery (preferred).

Active and unrestricted medical license in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain).

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.

Minimum 2 5 years of experience in cataract and glaucoma surgeries.

Skills & Competencies:

Expertise in advanced cataract extraction and glaucoma surgical procedures.

Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
