Position Summary:

The Market Development Manager is responsible for increasing visibility, engagement, and lead generation for InoRx through social media, in-person event participation, and field marketing initiatives. This role combines digital savvy with on-the-ground presence, helping uncover new business opportunities by representing the brand authentically across industry events, conferences, and online communities.

The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, resourceful, and comfortable engaging biotech and pharma prospects in both digital and in-person settings. They bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, a good sense of humor, and a proactive mindset to support pipeline generation and awareness-building efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Engagement & Brand Presence
  • Manage InoRx s social media channels (LinkedIn, X, and others) with a consistent, credible, engaging on brand voice
  • Monitor industry conversations, engage prospects, and respond in real time in a confident and approachable tone
  • Create, curate, organize and manage content that supports awareness, thought leadership, and lead-generation goals
  • Partner with leadership to amplify announcements, events, and leadership content
  1. Event Participation & Lead Generation
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and regional biotech gatherings to identify prospects and generate leads
  • Support pre-event planning, including outreach, social amplification, and scheduling prospect meetings
  • Serve as an external representative of InoRx, engaging attendees and communicating the InoRx value proposition clearly
  • Capture insights, prospect details, and follow-up actions from all events
  1. Field Marketing Support
  • Serve as the liaison between Sales and marketing ensuring that Sales has everything needed to succeed
  • Coordinate logistics for booths, collateral, giveaways, and conference presence
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to execute targeted campaigns around key events
  • Conduct competitive scans and collect market intelligence during events
  1. Digital & Lead Development Support
  • Work with the digital team on campaigns aligned to events, audiences, and geographies
  • Track inbound and event-generated leads and ensure accurate handoff to Sales
  • Analyze engagement and lead activity to identify trends and opportunities
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales to align field and social activities with pipeline goals
  • Support relationship-building initiatives with clinical trial sponsors, biotech executives, and ecosystem partners

Additional Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Enablement

  • Support account-based marketing (ABM) for priority target accounts by aligning field, event, and social activity with active sales pursuits and pipeline goals
  • Enable Sales with field-ready assets and insights, including customized collateral, account briefs, buyer objections, and competitive intelligence
  • Own post-event and post-meeting follow-up orchestration, ensuring timely lead handoff and sustained momentum from first meeting through proposal
  • Identify and support ecosystem and partner relationships (VCs, biotech networks, site partners) that drive referrals and co-marketing opportunities
  • Track and report field marketing impact on pipeline, including meetings generated, opportunities influenced, and actionable market insights

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor s or master s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Certifications in digital marketing, analytics, or automation platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Marketing, Google Ads, HubSpot, etc.).

Experience:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in marketing, field marketing, market development, or event-driven roles
  • Experience in biotech, pharma, life sciences, or healthtech
  • Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with senior external stakeholders in person and online
  • Experience managing social media channels for a B2B audience
  • Experience engaging biotech and pharma audiences
