Business Analyst II

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Altamonte Springs, FL that is seeking a Business Analyst II.

Summary:
In this role, the Business Analyst serves as a liaison between clinical and operational service lines supporting a variety of quality and performance measurement initiatives throughout the organization through participation in development and maintenance of reports, scorecards and dashboard tools. These initiatives include but are not limited to tracking clinical quality outcomes, monitoring and improving patient safety efforts, and benchmarking internal performance against external peers.

Responsibilities:
* Analyzes qualitative and quantitative clinical, financial and administrative data from multiple sources, and synthesizes results into meaningful reports and presentations on a regular basis
* Develops and maintains a robust, working knowledge of the business area that they support
* Subject matter expert of the key drivers and measures of success for this business area and demonstrates thorough understanding of the short-term and long-term direction of the service line
* Expected to actively demonstrate outstanding customer service and maintain relationships that are equally respectful to all

REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics discipline
* Certification in quality improvement, business analytics, business intelligence, or data science (upon hire preferred)
* 2+ years of experience in a related analytic position preferred
* 1+ years of experience in a healthcare organization preferred
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage efforts across multiple projects and re-establish priorities as necessary to effectively respond to time sensitive issues and meet deadlines
* Familiar with data visualization and statistical analysis tools (preferably Power BI, Qlik Products, Tableau, Minitab, R, Stata, or SAS)
* Familiar with data management tools and techniques (preferably MS Access and SQL)
* Knowledge of data extraction and analysis of current electronic medical records
* Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
