Compliance Manager | AdTech
We are currently hiring for an AdTech company at the cutting edge of programmatic advertising and data-driven marketing, and they're looking for a Compliance Manager who knows how to navigate the evolving landscape of privacy, data protection, and advertising regulation.
This is a pivotal role for someone who understands the intricacies of digital advertising, data governance, and regulatory frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, and emerging global standards.
About the Role:
As the Compliance Manager, you'll take ownership of ensuring the business remains compliant across a complex and fast-moving regulatory environment. You'll work closely with legal, product, and engineering teams to embed privacy and compliance into the fabric of the organization.
You'll be the go-to expert for all things data privacy, industry regulation, and ad tech policy helping guide both internal teams and external partners on how to navigate compliance without compromising innovation.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of the company's privacy and compliance programs
- Monitor global data protection laws and advertising standards (GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy, TCF, etc.) and ensure the company stays ahead of changes
- Partner with legal, product, and engineering to ensure privacy-by-design across platform features
- Liaise with advertising partners, vendors, and regulators when necessary, handling audits or data subject requests
- Maintain and improve policies around consent management, data retention, third-party data use, and cookie compliance
- Educate teams and support training initiatives to foster a culture of compliance
What We're Looking For:
- 3-6 years experience in a compliance, privacy, or legal role, ideally within the AdTech, MarTech, or broader digital media space
- Strong working knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, IAB TCF, ePrivacy, and other privacy frameworks
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, legal, and tech teams
- Familiarity with how data flows in programmatic advertising environments (pixels, cookies, identifiers, etc.)
- Clear communicator who can translate legal language into actionable business advice
