Job Description
ECS is seeking an Information Assurance Specialist to provide on-site support to the Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Directorate of Simulation (DOS) at Fort Novosel, AL .
The DOS supports and enables Initial Military Training and Professional Military Education training and education efforts which utilize DOS' Live Virtual Constructive Gaming (LVCG) simulation capabilities and infrastructure. The DOS is responsible for the administration, development, and technical integration of Models and Simulations (M&S) and Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) to create the operational environment in the Live Virtual Constructive Gaming (LVC-G) simulation domains.
The contractor shall provide Information Assurance (IA) support, which includes, but is not limited to; ensuring everyone within DOS (Government and Contractors) as well as visitors that utilize the Government or DOS network computer systems meet all IA requirements.

The contractor shall provide Information Assurance (IA) support, which includes, but is not limited to; ensuring everyone within DOS (Government and Contractors) as well as visitors that utilize the Government or DOS network computer systems meet all IA requirements.
- The contractor shall ensure that Information Assurance (IA) requirements for all DOS resources are fully coordinated and that security accreditation documentation (currently RMF) is maintained.
- The contractor shall ensure proper measures are in place to mitigate classified spillages.
- The contractor shall ensure that all contractor, government, and military personnel utilizing the DOS network, SIPR network, or NIPR network have all required IA training, approvals, and are cleared for access.
- The contractor shall ensure all DA PAM 25-2 Cyber Security rules and regulations are adhered to within DOS.
- The contractor shall input and track that all personal in DOS with network access meet all training requirements and are registered in ATCTS.
- In order to maintain this ISSO position the contractor shall meet all IAM-I baseline certification requirements.
- The contractor in this position will perform all ISSO duties and responsibilities in DODI 85000.01, DOSI 8510.01, and AR 25-2.
- The contractor in this position will work closely with the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Cyber Security Division and attend all scheduled meetings/briefings to ensure DOS is meeting all Cyber requirements.
- The contractor in this position will ensure the DOS network will meet all requirements and regulations IAW Army Regulation 25-2 (AR25-2) Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements and ensure Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation is achieved and maintained.
- The contractor will ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for the DOS Network and NIPR Network utilized by DOS staff.
- The contractor will implement and enforce all DOD information systems cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- The contractor in this position will prepare, distribute, and maintain plans, instructions, DOS IA SOP, and other documents required in order for DOS to meet Army IS cybersecurity requirements.
- The Contractor will ensure all DOS users of the DOS Network, NIPR, and SIPR receive initial and annual cybersecurity awareness training
