We have partnered with our client in their search for an Infrastructure Engineer


Responsibilities



  • The role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to build out, deploy and document the customer proxy-based Edge Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solution.
    * Cross-team co-ordination and collaboration to ensure end to end project delivery.
    * Need to support Operations team for day to day running of the platform along with triage and troubleshooting of any issues that arise. Adherence to JPMC Change Management processes and responsibilities related to updating documentation and tools
    * Ability to quickly adapt to changes and strong appetite to learn new technologies will be desired.


Skills Required



  • 5 years' of experience building and supporting a suite of Broadcom products including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec Content Analysis Systems (CAS), SSL Visibility appliances and Symantec Management Center (SMC)

  • 3 years' of experience with Proxies, PAC File generation, Upgrades of software, Certificate file renewal, listing and URL access troubleshooting.

  • Good Automation expertise with scripting skills for automation of a Proxy environment. * Good understanding of network infrastructure, application layer protocols (http/https) and vulnerability mitigation

  • Familiarity with Load Balancing concepts

  • Must be highly proficient in network security concepts

  • Proficient in use of SEIM tools for investigate purposes

  • Role is not 24x7 but would require maintenance schedules.



Secondary skills:



  • Experience with other Secure Gateway vendors: Zscaler, Netskope, Umbrella, etc

  • Experience in networking and security is highly desired.

  • Strong Experience working with Agile methodologies like Kanban & Scrum



Soft Skills:



  • Self-Starter who can take initiative and has the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Organized and able to follow JPMC processes designed to minimize risk to the environment

  • Proven communications skills including technical writing and presentation

  • Comfortable in coordinating across geographically diverse delivery and product teams


Education & Work Experience



  • 7 years' of experience in development or security/cybersecurity roles

  • Bachelor degree desired
