Job Details




We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, evaluate processes, and improve data reporting systems through the use of BI tools and automation. This is a hands-on role requiring critical thinking, curiosity, and a strong grasp of analytics and business operations.


This will pay up to $105,000 annually and will be onsite in Mendota Heights, MN.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Analyze and interpret operational data to support process improvements and decision-making.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify emerging trends and outliers.

  • Collaborate with teams to streamline data reporting and automate recurring processes.

  • Create and maintain dashboards using business intelligence tools for various stakeholders.

  • Provide insight and recommendations through well-structured data analysis and reporting.

  • Assist in data validation and systems integration for new site or tool deployments.

  • Support data governance by helping define data standards and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Respond to reporting inquiries and resolve BI tool-related issues from internal users.

  • Deliver executive-level reporting related to operations performance and project updates.

  • Champion the use of data in decision-making across the organization.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as needed.


Qualifications:


Education & Certifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Experience & Skills:



  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical or operations-focused role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.

  • Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.

  • Experience with DAX, Python, or R for advanced analysis is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce (Lightning/Analytics Studio), Oracle Fusion, or Azure/Fabric is preferred.

  • Knowledge of data warehouse architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Medallion architecture is a bonus.

  • Experience with Timberline (Sage 300 CRE) or a comparable ERP system is preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
