Salesforce Change Management Specialist

Location: Remote

The HigherEchelon Salesforce Practice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Change Management Specialist to join our team. The Salesforce Change Management Specialist will drive successful adoption and manage the impact of Salesforce changes within our customer's organization. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce, change management methodologies, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to support the successful implementation of Salesforce projects and initiatives.

Collaborate with project teams, business leaders, and stakeholders to assess the impact of Salesforce changes and develop appropriate change management strategies.

Identify and analyze potential risks and resistance to change and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.

Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and materials to support user adoption and skill development for Salesforce changes.

Create and distribute change communications, including emails, newsletters, and presentations, to effectively communicate the purpose, benefits, and impacts of Salesforce changes.

Coordinate and conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and readiness assessments to identify potential barriers and develop targeted change management plans.

Monitor and measure change adoption and effectiveness, collecting feedback and data to assess the success of change initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

Provide guidance and support to project teams and business users on change management best practices, methodologies, and tools.

Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to ensure that change management considerations are incorporated into system updates and enhancements.

Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices, and assess their impact on change management strategies and plans.

Continuously improve change management processes and tools, identifying areas for optimization and implementing enhancements.

Required Skills:

Preferred public sector experience or multiple Salesforce project implementation experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in change management, preferably in the context of Salesforce implementations or related technology projects.

Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform and applications, with an understanding of Salesforce functionalities, configurations, and user experience.

Experience in change management methodologies and frameworks, such as Prosci ADKAR or Kotter's 8-Step Model.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and facilitate change at all levels of the organization.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple change initiatives concurrently.

Proficient in developing and delivering training programs and materials, including e-learning platforms and multimedia tools.

Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Certified Change Management Specialist) are a plus.

Experience with change management software or tools is desirable.

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Information Technology, or a related field.

Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance if needed
