Location: Within 50 miles of Washington, DC

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst with at least five years of relevant experience. This role requires a strong foundation in ServiceNow, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical implementation. The ideal candidate will be located within 50 miles of Washington, DC and will play a key role in translating business processes into functional requirements that support ServiceNow solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between project stakeholders and the Platform Support Team throughout planning, development, and release cycles.

  • Lead and facilitate business process review efforts to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Gather and document business, process, and data requirements in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

  • Ensure solutions align with business needs and are clearly communicated to both technical teams and end users.

  • Evaluate business processes and anticipate requirements, providing clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Support the Platform Support Team in understanding business objectives and test requirements.

  • Translate technical complexities and design decisions into clear, business-friendly language.

  • Develop release estimates and contribute to effective release planning.

  • Document outcomes of business process reviews and communicate optimization strategies to management and project teams.

  • Conduct stakeholder meetings and deliver impactful presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on ServiceNow implementations.

  • Strong technical understanding of the ServiceNow platform and related solutions.

  • Proven experience working with software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including Agile, DevOps, Lean, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and requirements elicitation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage requirements traceability across multiple projects.

  • Ability to identify downstream implications of proposed solutions.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build consensus and foster strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Experience generating reports and extracting key information from stakeholder meetings.
