Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled InterSystems IRIS Integration Developer with strong experience in building healthcare data workflows, HL7 interfaces, and EMR system integration. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of object-oriented programming in Cache/IRIS, HL7 implementation knowledge, and an understanding of healthcare data exchange formats like SDA and CCDA.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom classes, properties, and object scripts in InterSystems IRIS.

Design and implement IRIS Productions, including Initiator and Responder workflows (CQ Implementation).

Deploy and manage IRIS deployments in Kubernetes environments using IKO (InterSystems Kubernetes Operator).

Create and manage HL7, SDA, CCDA, and JSON-based data interfaces for EMR systems.

Work with integration adapters including SFTP, HL7, and HTTP for data ingestion and exchange.

Perform problem analysis, interface troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design integration solutions based on business requirements.

Follow version control and DevOps practices using GitHub, Serena, Linux/Unix, and VSCode.

Participate in solution design reviews, documentation, and SOP creation as needed.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in InterSystems IRIS / Cache ObjectScript development.

Good understanding of IRIS production features and deployment lifecycle.

Solid knowledge of HL7 message structure and custom HL7 implementations.

Experience working with healthcare data exchange standards like SDA, CCDA, and JSON.

Exposure to Azure Cloud environments and basic Kubernetes deployment concepts.

Familiarity with CQ Initiator/Responder workflows.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of healthcare domain fundamentals.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Experience with Linux/Unix environments and common version control systems (GitHub, Serena).
