Senior Software Engineer / Node / Chicago

A Chicago-based digital agency is looking for a Senior Node Engineer to work on applications for several clients. This is a full-time position on a hybrid basis in Chicago.

In this role, you'll work on projects that span multiple industries for companies of all sizes. Alongside other full-stack engineers, you'll be hands on with Node and TypeScript, but may also handle some frontend work w/ React and related libraries. Collaboration is at the center of what they do, they emphasize a team-based approach to design and development. This is a great chance to to advance your skillset and gain exposure to a variety of industries.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software development experience
• 4+ years of experience in Node.js
• Great communication skills for team-based projects
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in React and related libraries
• Experience owning or leading a software project
• Experience with the full SDLC
• Experience working for a digital agency or consultancy
